...was "successful" on many fronts.
1. i read my new harry potter book (book 7...the last of a legacy). it was wonderful!!! i was completely absorbed in it all day and my fabulous family/fiance were completely understanding that i needed space and quiet in which to read. mom and blake left me alone except for lunchtime & every so often blake would come in and check on me, give me a quick kiss, see if i needed some water, and then let me be. (what a guy!) it was totally worth it and i loved every minute of my day.
2. i took a shower. while this may not seem like a big win, if you consider the fact that i woke up at 9 and started reading harry potter & didn't finish until around 6:30ish just in time for dinner, after having spent the whole of my day in my pajamas with nasty hair it is amazing that i felt compelled to cleanse myself before heading to target.
3. i was able to relax...not just the surface relaxing that i've been doing lately (well, not so often, but i've been trying), but a real relaxation that actually allowed me to chill. of course now it's worn off and the reality of my school stuff, wedding stuff, & house stuff left to do has caught up with me...but it was nice for a time.
anyway, i hope to be more definitively successful in the usual sense of the word...work-out, school work, pottery barn (earning the big bucks!), and then more school work.
but first, some shout outs:
1. rachi, i love you and i am sorry that i have not called you back...tomorrow is hopefully the day, you are on my list!!! rebecca is beautiful, i wish i could be there to share in all the fun & help whenever you needed me to! miss you, kiss the baby for me.
2. sarah rose, i am definitely calling you asap...i miss you and i am ready to catch up...fo' reals. i almost called you today but since i would have only had about 15 minutes, i decided it would only be a tease... when are you coming up to h'ville again? soon, i hope! kiss the bean for me, love you! mare (fave)
