the beach...

...was wonderful. fantastic even. the family is doing great and it was lovely to spend time with everyone...my grandparents are spectacular and everyone was thrilled to meet blake. he fit in with "tha fam-uh-ly" and we shared a lot of laughs, games, and relaxation.

beside the beach trip, nothing huge has been going on. we got back saturday night (after a long, long, loooooong car ride) and spent yesterday being lazy and having family time. today blake and i went around with mom in hopes of getting some errands done (no such luck) and then we came home and i cooked supper...uh, thank you!

i don't have time to post a whole lot, but for now i will give a list of points for later posts:
1. RACHEL & WALTER HAD THEIR BABY... Rebecca Elizabeth Olsen. I'm ecstatic, I can't wait to meet the baby (as Aunt Gidge) and hug my Moondoggy, and I can't wait to see pictures!!!

2. i'm majorly stressed about school prep and teaching stuff. gaaaaaaaaaaaah! i just need a few solid days of productivity but with the ever so needy pottery barn, i am losing some planning days. we're going to the school tomorrow to get started a little and i'm gonna be working like a crazy lady from now until the first day of school. PRAY!!

3. we had a crazy weather event at the beach one day. a sketch: my 91 year old Babaloo & 84 year old Mama B. + major thunderstorm + water spouts and funnel clouds + wish we had a camera but exceedingly glad we made it back to tell the tale.

4. wish i was further along with the wedding stuff but it's hard when you have to wait on other people to do their part before you can do yours.

5. WE unofficially HAVE A HOUSE!!!
