almost...

...father's day & my mama's birthday.

to celebrate both, i would like to post pictures and explain just how special these two people are to me (& just in general).

my daddy is witty, the smartest man i know, handsome, loving, a great hugger, reliable, responsible, admirable, humble, and comfortable. he is a shining example and someone i look up to very much. more than that, he is someone that i am blessed to have a very strong relationship with. i wish i could explain how lucky i feel to have him as my daddy...maybe the picture sums it up. DADDY: I LOVE YOU THiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiS MUCH!!

my mother is an interesting and lovely woman. she is smart, funny, comforting, caring, strong, compassionate, and a great example of what a mom and wife should be. i look up to my mom and can't believe how blessed i am to have someone to guide me through life and all of its phases...even though sometimes the transitions come with yelling. :)

so now that i have gotten that off of my chest...i'm off to bed. more to come sooner than later, i promise. we're sort of getting into a routine for our "summer" and things are looking up for productivity.

p.s. it should be noted that i will have a father-in-law to celebrate this father's day...my first time. i am very blessed in the man who i call "big boy" and feel very blessed to have such a positive relationship with my in-laws. i realize it doesn't always happen that way & i am not taking it for granted. (a picture...one of my faves)

p.s. married life is putting along nicely...we are happy, laughing, and enjoying our time. it's going to be TOUGH when we have to go back to work and not see eachother for 8+ hours a day...
